The soon-to-be graduating Class of 2024 at the WNAT member school sold bingo booklets and staged a raffle as part of their fundraising efforts for the Year 11 leavers’ celebration, which will take place on 28 June and mark the end of five years of study at Springwood for the cohort.

Students, friends, family and staff members all competed to complete a ‘full house’ during the evening, which took place in the Sixth Form Hub at Springwood.

“Just over £1,000 was raised, and will go towards the DJ, decorations and activities at the Prom,” said Rebecca Davies, who is Assistant Headteacher and Head of Year 11 at the school, and helped to organise the bingo.

Other fundraising events planned ahead of the Prom include a Quiz Night, due to take place at Springwood on Friday 22 March.
