This years A Level students achieved 77% A*-C grades overall

This year many of the A levels taken were the “new style” A level which had only terminal examinations without coursework, AS examinations or modular examinations. Despite the more challenging examinations our students have performed incredibly well.

The vast majority of students have gained their first choice university offer whilst others have gained high quality higher level apprenticeships with companies including Coca Cola and British Sugar.

George Pettitt, Assistant Headteacher in charge of the Sixth Form said;

 “This is another great year for our Sixth Form students. The Sixth Form continues to deliver success in facilitating subjects such as Mathematics, History and English. We have also widened the range of subjects offered in the Sixth Form to include Fashion Design and Photography due to demand, and the students in these subjects have also obtained fantastic outcomes.”

Roger Livesey, Chair of Governors and Chair of the West Norfolk Academies Trust said;

“I congratulate all of our Sixth Form students and Staff on another brilliant set of A level results. The Springwood Sixth Form is a beacon of academic success in the area and serves all students of West Norfolk schools well. It is so satisfying so see so many young people achieve their first choice future”
