Kristie has worked for West Norfolk Academies Trust for 5 years and in September 2022 started her first year as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) at Clenchwarton Primary School teaching Yr1. 

Kristie first joined the Trust as a Teaching Assistant whilst studying for her degree with the Open University.   Once she had completed her degree she started her teaching training through an apprenticeship with the Trust and qualified in 2022.  Kristie’s biggest achievement is qualifying as a teacher.

Kristie finds working for the Trust rewarding, homely and fun and the best part of her job is the children and the staff “seeing my pupils progress throughout the year, working in a happy classroom with lovely children and working alongside a great team”.

Kristie’s one piece of knowledge to a new employee of the Trust is “remember your ‘why’”.
