St Clement’s students enjoy James Bond-themed Prom
Students at St Clement's High were shaken not stirred when they attended their James Bond-themed Prom.
The Class of 2022 from St Clement's - part of the West Norfolk Academies Trust - arrived at Knights Hill Hotel in Kings Lynn in an array of different vehicles, and wearing a dazzling selection of evening wear, from tuxedos and three-piece suits, to ballgowns and cocktail dresses.
They were greeted by a crowd of well-wishers, who applauded their arrival at tonight's event, which featured a three-course meal, a disco by Chris Osler of Vibes, and 007-style Poker, complete with customised St Clement’s Poker Chips designed by the school’s Mr Falco.
“It was our best attended prom with 102 guests enjoying the evening. ,” said Luke Feaviour, Assistant Headteacher. “The event was the culmination of the efforts of the Year 11 Student Prom Committee, who raised a good amount of money which contributed to the James Bond theme.”
He continued: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students. They have worked incredibly hard to prepare for a full set of public examinations – the first cohort to do so since the full school closures of 2020 and 2021. We look forward to seeing them all when they collect their exam results, and wish them a long and relaxing summer in the meantime.”
